Programmable Position Sensors

There are position sensors that are available to set measurement angles or output ranges by users.
The main advantages of the programmable position sensor are

  1. Enables users to set the specifications to closely match the application requirements.
  2. No need to discuss the spec of the sensor in detail with sensor makers prior to usage.
  3. No need to purchase separate specs of position sensors for different applications.
  4. Enables users to perform various evaluation tests with one sensor by adjusting the setting of the sensor.

Our programmable position sensors combined with a user-settable card or setting panel allow users to easily configure specifications.
We will continue to expand the lineup of the programmable position sensors.

The Hall-IC type position sensor is also able to reset the specifications by using the specific programming board and equipment provided by the IC maker. However, the preparation for this process can be complicated and costly. There are many unsuccessful cases of setting the required specifications and therefore we do not recommend this method.
